During
my art therapy studies, I illustrated a fantasy tale about
a serpent
and a crystal. This picture was my first step towards my
search for the
rainbow crystal. In the mythology of various cultures,
there is a relation
between the
serpent and god. The rainbow is a visible sign
for the
relationship between
god and the human being.
The
Aborigines believe that the source of creation is a quartz
crystal
with a rainbow
inside. The transparent crystal describes the heavenl
throne of the
Father, the rainbow inside for the Mother.
This heavenly
couple is
responsible
for the creation of all beings, born by the Mother,
the rainbow serpent.
The
assembled structure of the pentagonhexacontahedron
“Rainbow
serpent Dreaming”, 3.14 m in diameter, is a light crystal
in form
of a pentagonhexacontahedron. Inside the crystal,
one
can
move
in the
space, relax or bath in an atmosphere filled with rainbows.
The
rainbow crystal during the day: The prism-membrane separates
the
sunlight into the colours of
the optical spectrum. You can bath
in the basin filled with water,
which is loaded with rainbow energy.
At
dawn and at night the crystal gets illuminated from inside
with low voltage lamps.

The Möbius strip rotates in the
centre of the crystal, which is lighted
with 30 halogen spots lights.
The reflected colourful light, travels
through the space within the crystal.
